FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Fighting Childhood Hunger

School by School TM

Last December, Food for the Soul gave away 10,000 gifts across DFW because of partners like you!

The best part of giving the gifts last year was that 10,000 children received the true meaning of Christmas. In each present there was a book about story of Jesus!

Thank you to all our partners and new partners - your tax deductible donations went a long way! Please consider telling your friends and family to partner with us this new year, and sponsor a child experiencing food-insecurity in our local community!

Who We Are & What We Do:

OUR MISSION:

Our mission, through God’s grace and guidance, is to

Fight Childhood Hunger - School by School.

OUR VISION:

We believe that NO child should go to bed hungry in our communities and together we can make a difference! To date, Food for the Soul has provided over 2.5 million meals towards our goal.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

PACKOUT FUN:

Join us as we pack the Backpack food bags that go home with our hungry students in our Backpack Program!
Fun times had by all!

We invite individuals, families, teams, clubs, and companies to come and be a part of Fighting Childhood Hunger right here in our local communities! Check our calendar for upcoming volunteer dates.

FUEL THE FUTURE: FEED AN

ATHLETE

Feed the athletes pregame meals to secure healthy meals before their games. Can you imagine playing sports on an empty stomach?

FOOD DRIVES:

You "CAN" make a difference!

We invite you to do a "CAN" food drive of
Hearty Soups or Mac N Cheese,
for our Backpack Program!

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Matthew 25:34-36

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
